I’m not sure what the weather was like today; grey, I think. There was definitely no sun, which given the ongoing migraine situation, I was rather pleased about. I’m not sure whether it rained. I was very busy with work so didn’t really look away from the computer much today – not great for my joints, which seized up with all the inactivity. Also not good for my hydration levels as I didn’t bother drinking (bad Tracy). Finally, it wasn’t great for my head, either, which is now banging like a drum. Fortunately, the kaleidoscope effects have gone, I just feel sick still – and I’m used to that. I’m getting this post done early so I can get away from the computer for a bit.
The headache meant a need for silence, so no music this morning as
would normally be the case, and because of the need to concentrate on work, I
only listened to a couple of chapters of Goblin this afternoon, although
the story was good.
I did catch up with a couple of new MVs for songs that were released
today, Moonbin and Sanha's (from Astro) Madness (the lead track from
their new EP Incense), which I
very much enjoyed. I haven’t yet listened to the EP because headache, but I will as
soon as I can, hopefully tomorrow. I also watched Nine’s (OnlyOneOf) solo release for the Underground Idol
Series called beyOnd. This is one of my favourites out of the 6
songs because he has such a sweet voice, although I need to listen to them all
again to decide which is my ultimate favourite. Fortunately, I’ve made a playlist
of them for easy listening, and in case you feel the urge to check the songs
out although I also recommend watching all the MVs, especially if you’re a BL fan.
Assuming my head doesn’t get any worse I’m intending to watch the following
TV tonight: Firstly, and most importantly, Missing: The Other Side
(season 2) (ongoing), a Korean supernatural mystery series I'm enjoying very
much and have to watch as soon as it drops the subs. The first series was an underrated drama gem and is my second all-time favourite K-drama, only beaten by the
sublime Kill Me Heal Me.
I will also be watching Unchained Love, the other ongoing period C-drama, that I'm watching on alternating days from Song of the Moon. I am enjoying the drama so far. Wang He Di (Dylan Wang) is fine as the male lead and the story is building pretty well, but in my opinion, the actress playing the female lead,
Chen Yu Qi (Yukee Chen), isn’t good enough.
However, it’s early days, as I haven’t yet reached double figures, so she and the
story might both improve considerably as it goes on.
Also, today is exactly 31 days until Baekhyun is discharged from the military, so we're on the final countdown, and ready for lots of new EXO content once he returns (alas, my poor bank balance). It's also 16 days until Quincy and I get to see CIX in concert at O2 Forum (which I am very excited about - not sure whether Q is quite so stoked š).
