02 January 2023 - What Today Held

So, it's the second day of the year, and it's not been a great one.

Mood/health: migraine brewing – no headache yet, but experiencing several of the peripherals (aura, dodgy vision, kaleidoscope colours and that weird out-of-body feeling). These and feeling queasy meant I was unable to do much. No candle today because of the hyper-sensitivity, but I did remember to water the rose I got for Christmas (thanks again, Chris) - mainly because the leaves were falling off it 🤦‍♀️.

Music listened to: WayV, TNT, FTIsland and AteezYeosang is doing funny things with my head with his low parts in Halazia; clearly not a migraine song!

TV watched: Unlock My Boss (ongoing), Song of the Moon (ongoing), Weak Hero Class 1 (completed).

Weak Hero Class 1 was missold to me by its synopsis. I thought I was getting a genius-level boy, beating bullies by using clever tactics to outsmart them. Instead, I got lots of fighting, some pretty hard-to-watch scenes (it is extremely violent) and a story that had me swearing at the TV a lot. It's definitely not for the faint of heart, but it was worth seeing.

Drink:  lots of tea (Bird & Blend's Spiced Pumpkin Pie) and some Waterdrop 'Snow' – I really need to increase my water consumption again, as it’s been slipping recently. But I find it hard when I'm migrainy and don't feel like drinking anything much.

Things I’ve done today (it's not much):

Set a reading goal on Goodreads of 12 books. I also found this reading challenge on my FB memories which has 12 books, so I thought it worth using. I’m not sure I can meet all the criteria, but most of them should be achievable.

Completed a jigsaw puzzle while watching TV.

I almost made this post one of my achievements, but adding the links meant I missed uploading before midnight by 2 minutes. I must start earlier tomorrow.

Better Late Than Never?

Well, to be honest, I’m not sure about that. But as I spent the whole of January and part of February getting my end-of-year music lists sor...
