A couple of hours ago it was confirmed that my bias from Astro, the beautiful, talented, and eternally-smiling Moonbin, was found dead in his home by his manager. He was 25 and seemingly had everything to live for.
Although the cause of death hasn't yet been announced, and Fantagio, his agency, has urged people not to speculate, the original report included a statement from a police officer that said they were assuming suicide. That statement has since been removed, but the story has already spread around the world.
Whatever the cause, it doesn't really matter. What does matter is that we lost someone that a great many people will miss forever. I know what his family will be going through right now, and I send all my best thoughts and wishes to them at this most difficult time.
Farewell, dear Moonbin. I hope you're happy wherever you are now. I shall always remember you as a smiler.
