No Time . . .

I just nipped in to post the link to July's playlist, which is already looking promising with Oneus's Japanese single and a full album by Urashimasakatasen.

The Q2 (or 6-month if you prefer) music update will be happening shortly . . . hopefully.

First, and most importantly, I have to create a new D&D character as my last campaign finally finished on Monday after 2 years. It was an excellent campaign; my character Hanali Ilphekir was a brilliant ranger, and amazingly, we managed to get through the whole game without almost any of my backstory coming out - which is just how she would have wanted it to go.

In two weeks, the new adventure starts in a brand-new world specially created by our new DM. My character needs to be as good as everyone else's, so I have to get planning fast, especially as everyone else has completed theirs, got their backstories done and even posted pictures of them. Fortunately, Hana's not gone forever, as she's been immortalised as a minor god in the new world.

I know who my guy's going to be, but the finer details in the backstory need to be written, and then I need to create him a decent avatar.

As soon as that's done, then I'll be on the Q2 stats. I have sorted up to the end of May, so it's just June to sprinkle in - yay, go me (see, I always knew keeping proper records would pay dividends and it has). But there were some banger tunes out in June, so it might be tricky - plus I still have quite a lot of the playlist to listen to.

If anyone was waiting for my Japanese and Thai drama review, I'm really sorry, but I will get round to it after Q2, I promise. Then I ought to do an update of this year's favourites so far - 6 months in, and I've watched so much stuff.

But that's all for later. For now, I'm off to write my backstory and leave you with the new track, Call My Name by Lay. Taken from his upcoming album Flawed Crown, it's every bit as interesting as all his previous works. I can't wait, although there currently isn't a worldwide release date for the album. But if you can access Chinese streaming sites, then it's available from 3 July.

See you soon(ish).

What On Earth Is Going On?

No, I don't mean me posting 2 days in a row, although that is pretty darn unusual, I'll admit. I'm talking about this:  Why have...
